1. Information We Collect

Account Information: Name, email address, and authentication data when you create an account (directly or via Google OAuth).

Documents: Files you upload for processing. These are stored securely in Supabase Storage and are only accessible to you.

Usage Data: Session duration, learning progress, and interaction patterns to improve the Service.

2. How We Use Your Data

  • Provide and improve the AI learning experience
  • Process payments through Stripe
  • Send transactional emails (receipts, notifications)
  • Track learning progress across sessions
  • Generate anonymized analytics for service improvement

3. AI Processing

Your documents are processed by Google's Gemini AI to enable interactive learning. Document content is sent to Google's API during active sessions. We do not use your documents to train AI models. Session transcripts are retained for up to 5 sessions, then summarized and deleted.

4. Data Storage & Security

Data is stored on Supabase (PostgreSQL) with Row Level Security policies. All connections use TLS encryption. Payment information is handled exclusively by Stripe — we never store card details. API keys and secrets are stored in environment variables, never in code.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

  • Google (Gemini AI): Document content during active sessions
  • Stripe: Payment processing
  • Resend: Transactional email delivery
  • Vercel: Frontend hosting

6. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can download your uploaded documents at any time. To delete your account and all associated data, contact us or use the account settings page.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

8. Data Retention

Account data is retained as long as your account is active. Documents are deleted 30 days after access expires. Session transcripts are deleted after 5 sessions. You can request deletion of all data at any time.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email.
